LCC Summer Camp

Priority Application Deadline: Friday, June 2, 2023 (midnight Central Time)

The Latino Cultural Center, in collaboration with OutLoud Dallas, is hosting LCC Summer Arts Camp, a free camp for Dallas kids, July 10-July 28, 2023, Monday-Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.

Dallas youth between the ages of 11-14 will participate in a three-week visual and performing arts intensive that will culminate in a multidisciplinary public exhibition and performance that will be shared with the community, friends and family. Participants will work with local artists to produce large scale paintings, spoken word pieces, photography and participate in dance and theater workshops. Youth participants will conceptualize the theme and design of the exhibition, working with professional artists to learn technical skills in a variety of art forms to execute their vision.

No pre-requisites or prior artistic experience is required to participate in this program.

ELIGIBILITY: Students ages 11-14.

PRICE: FREE
