EXHIBITION OPEN CALL
PROPOSAL PROCESS
Each year the Latino Cultural Center accepts applications from artists and curators for solo and group exhibitions to occur the following calendar year. Selected artists and curators are invited to present an exhibition in the LCC Galleries after review by the Center Manager
Chosen artists will work directly with the LCC to install and market the exhibition.
GUIDELINES
To maintain our commitment to presenting diverse programming, we encourage artists and curators who have not presented work in the LCC Gallery in the past 3 years to apply.
Proposals must include:
- Resume (include all artists if group exhibition)
- Artist(s) or Curator Bio
- Artist Statement (300 words)
- Detailed Exhibition Proposal (600 words)
- For artists
- 10 images of current artwork formatted as JPEG, 800 x 600 pixels, no larger than 2MB, video excerpts should be shared via a Vimeo link.
- For curators
- 3 images of each artist(s) work that will be exhibited formatted as JPEG, 800 x 600 pixels, no larger than 2MB
- Images and detailed description of previous curatorial projects
